Original price was: $899.99.$799.99Current price is: $799.99.The Mabotech MK8/8Y MQB Intercooler V2 is the next evolution of our stock-position intercooler kit for the MK8 GTI, MK8 Golf R, Audi 8Y S3, and related MQB EVO applications.
The V2 increases core thickness from the previous V1 2.55″ design to a larger 70 mm (2.76″) core, bringing total core volume to approximately 1,113 in³. This represents roughly an 8% increase in core volume over the previous Mabotech MK8/8Y unit and approximately +67% core volume over the OEM baseline, based on the same comparison method used for the original product.
The V2 maintains the Mabotech dynamic-fin true bar-and-plate core, divided inlet, large-volume end tanks, 2.75″ ID hose connections, and 6-ply high-heat silicone hoses. This design is focused on lowering intake air temperatures, improving thermal stability, and reducing restriction under high boost and high airflow demand.
Perfect for tuned stock turbo cars, hybrid turbo setups, upgraded turbo applications, hot-climate vehicles, and customers who want more cooling headroom before intake air temperature becomes a limiting factor.
