Professional installation is required
Some clocking may be required for some turbos including those with or without aftermarket add-on parts.
Fully pressurized smoke leak test is strongly recommended after installation.
Stock diverter valves have been tested with good results but, for certain applications upgraded diverter valves may be need it.
Adjust wastegate actuator between 3.4v and 3.5v and confirm voltage after some heat cycles.
Dyno pictures are from an independent shop on a customer’s vehicle, pulls where made without methanol or oxygen adders on a low inertia (load) dyno which typically shows a slightly slower threshold or boost onset than typical road conditions. 93 octane and E47 conservative Mabotech tunes respectively with all failsafes into place.
Note: Accessories provided with the turbo are included as free and complementary for better performance and installation, you can choose to use them at your discretion, no warranty is included or implied for them.
Mabotech limited lifetime warranty
Every eligible Mabotech turbocharger includes:
- Months 1 – 12: 100% product coverage for approved defects in materials or workmanship.
- Month 13 – 24: 70% prorated replacement coverage.
- Month 24 – 36: 20% prorated replacement coverage.
- Month 36 and beyond: 15% replacement coverage for life.
Coverage decreases monthly between the stated milestones and never falls below 15%. For more details ask questions.
Even when a failure is caused by installation, tuning, lubrication, contamination, overspeed or another customer-side condition, a complete and genuine Mabotech turbo may still qualify for at least 15% replacement coverage.
The permanent 15% lifetime benefit remains with the genuine turbo, regardless of its current owner. Proof of purchase is required for coverage above 15%.
The customer is responsible for shipping the turbo to Mabotech under all circumstances. Mabotech covers standard outbound shipping only for approved DOA or warranty claims submitted within 30 days of delivery. After 30 days, the customer is responsible for shipping in both directions.
Failed turbochargers must be returned, authenticated and surrendered to Mabotech. Labor, installation, removal, diagnostics, customs charges and accessories are not covered.
If a turbocharger fails within the initial 12-month period and the model has been discontinued with no direct replacement available, Mabotech will provide an approved purchase credit toward another eligible Mabotech turbocharger.
